Here is a great review and recipe from Foodie’s Allergy Cookbook blog! This blogger loves to cook but has to make certain foods due to allergies. While preparing to travel, she bough a Stone Wave so that she could make personal meals in her hotel microwave. She posted a picture of the chicken tomato tagine that she made and had this to say:
“I made a tomato and chicken tagine and served it with a microwaved sweet potato. The resulting dish tasted better than just microwaving the ingredients in a bowl. The lid seems to let just the right amount of steam escape to concentrate the sauce to deepen flavors, yet keep the dish moist.”
Get the recipe for the tomato and chicken tagine and read the rest of her great review here!
Green & Glassie Blog loves Stone Wave! The blogger picked one up at her local Walmart store and gave it a great review. She posted a picture of her morning omelet with bacon and cheese, and also talks about a baked apple with cinnamon that she made in the stoneware. She notes that she works in a hospital and has to be there at 5 am, so the Stone Wave is perfect for making a quick single serving breakfast in the morning. Check out the whole review here.
KWCH CBS 12 News tested Stone Wave in a new segment. They enlisted a local resident to give the cooker a try at home. She decided to cook a few different dishes, including a fluffy omelette, eggplant parmesan and finished with a baked apple crisp. At the end, they asked the teacher “Does It Work?” and she said “yes!”
